Line Ball Valves, tailored for hospital medical gas pipelines, offer crucial control and isolation. They include Emergency NIST connections upstream and downstream for integrating gas, including inert purge gas. Valves for future expansions come with red blanking spades for airtight sealing, while open valves have white through spades. Drilled fixing nuts visually indicate valve status, meeting HTM02-01 standards.
The dual port shut-off valve features a three-piece brass body with double seals and a chrome-plated brass ball. It operates with just a quarter turn from open to closed. Designed for maximum working pressures of 600 psig or vacuum service to 29” Hg, these valves combine durability with ease of use.
The Automatic Manifold is designed in accordance with NFPA 99 and CSA standards. The design, validated through extensive testing, ensures the manifold maintains its reliability while reducing the leak potential and avoiding wasteful gas losses. The NEMA 4 electrical enclosure and environmental testing provides the ability for outdoor installations. The Lifeline Automatic Manifold is designed to be a superior performer in any medical gas service.
Gas Manifold conforms to NHS Health Technical Memorandum Nos. 2022 (HTM2022), 0201 (HTM02-01) and EN ISO7396-1. The manifold control system provides an uninterrupted supply of the designated medical gas from equally sized high pressure cylinder banks via a suitable arrangement of pressure regulators, providing a constant downstream nominal pipeline gauge pressure of 400 kPa, 700 kPa or 1,100 kPa. The entire system is ‘duplexed’ such that any single functional component failure will not affect the integrity of the medical gas supply. The manifold is supplied fully assembled and tested.
There are two separate stages of regulation to enable high peak flow rates without a reduction in line pressure. Multistage regulators combined within a single unit are not suitable for this application, as they do not meet the required performance for this product. Regulators comply with BS EN ISO 10524-2. Documented test reports are available confirming successful completion of the oxygen ignition tests stated therein. All regulators are protected from over pressurisation by relief valves that are vented to atmosphere. The manifold can be vented during commissioning, e.g. by using the included test points.
The Vertical Zone Valve Box maximizes space in critical care areas through its innovative design with vertically oriented piping, cutting wall space needs by 50% or more compared to traditional horizontal layouts. It fits between two single studs without requiring extra wall space beyond the back box.
The Combination Alarm Zone Valve Box offers a streamlined, dual-function solution for medical gas management in healthcare facilities. Its integrated design reduces installation time and space requirements while enhancing emergency safety. This innovative unit combines the area alarm panel and zone valve box functions in one, offering efficiency and advanced monitoring capabilities.
The Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) is important for maintaining a safe environment for medical personnel. This active system is designed to remove waste anesthetic gas mixtures from operating theatres and other areas where nitrous oxide is used. By eliminating these gases at the source, the AGSS plays a crucial role in reducing potential long-term health hazards to medical personnel, ensuring a safer workplace for those delivering critical care.
If you’re looking for a medical air supply system that can be optimized to your requirements, the BeaconMedaes PMA delivers the right solution. In-house developed by our experts, the PMA is a duplex air purification system with central controller and your choice of optimal compressor technology (screw, tooth or scroll).
The advanced duplex air purification system with central control meets MDR 2017/45, EN ISO 7396-1, and HTM02-01/2022 standards for medical air supply. It produces medical-grade air up to 1000 kPa (10 bar), aligning with the European Pharmacopoeia. Supporting up to six compressors, the system ensures a steady medical air flow. Its modular design allows for tailored compressor technology choice, offering a reliable, high-quality air solution for healthcare needs.
